The Garmin GPSMAP 62S brings a long-awaited update to the fabulous and much-used GPSMAP 60CSx. GPSMAP 62S has an excellent menu system that has a fast access to features. It is very handy that is 2.6 inch and the weight is 7.4 ounces with 20 hours battery life. 

It shares the waypoints, accurate tracks, routes and geocaches wirelessly (paperless) with other compatible Garmin device users made the device more useful.  Garmin GPSMAP 62s display has a better visibility in a wide range of conditions. Having a tri-axial compass means, you do not have to hold the unit level while navigating. The device has an advanced track navigation, which is controlled by built-in worldwide basemap with shaded relief, and it can download Garmin Connect photos for picture navigation.

It is also Built-in 3-axis tilt-compensated electronic compass and barometric altimeter for bearing and altitude. It provides accurate total ascent reading especially with latest beta firmware, which is much appreciated by many users. The user can choose a dashboard for the map, compass and trip computer screens with or without data fields.

 

 

Depending upon page, the choice of the user may include automotive, stopwatch, small or vast data field, and entertaining, geocaching, compass or plot for elevation. The GPSMAP 62 series has brilliant track, route, and waypoint management tools.
